Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously. Learn how Splitvy collects, stores, protects, and uses your account and transaction data.
1. Data We Collect
To provide a secure subscription marketplace, we collect the following types of information when you interact with Splitvy:
- Account Information: Display name, email address, password hashes, and registration timestamps.
- Identity Verification: For creators, KYC identification data and verification documents to prevent fraud.
- Financial Data: TRON wallet addresses (TRC20) and P2P transaction history within the platform.
- Communication Logs: Chat history between users, creators, and administrators in private messaging or support tickets.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is processed to ensure system integrity, compliance, and smooth marketplace operations, specifically to:
- Enable peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers and deposit/withdrawal processing.
- Verify creator credentials and resolve escrow disputes or ticket requests.
- Prevent fraudulent activities, hacking, or account sharing abuse.
- Send transactional alerts (e.g. payout updates, support responses, and group changes).
3. Data Security & Storage
All passwords and sensitive personal information are securely encrypted. We store transaction logs and communication histories using industry-standard security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, alterations, or leaks.
As a blockchain-funded platform, note that P2P wallet addresses and transaction IDs (txid) are permanently recorded on the public TRON blockchain network. This blockchain data cannot be erased or modified.
4. Third-Party Sharing
Splitvy does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party advertisers. We only share information with partners when absolutely necessary to process payments (e.g., Google Sign-in authentication or blockchain verification nodes) or when required by legal law enforcement operations.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use browser cookies and local storage tokens (like session cookies) to keep you authenticated, remember your theme preferences, and analyze site traffic patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may lock you out of some dashboard features.
6. Your Rights & Choice
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data stored on Splitvy, update your account details, or request account deletion. Deleting your account will remove your personal identifier records, although transaction logs on-chain and past completed group audits will be kept to maintain platform historical audits.
