Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our platform. By using Splitvy, you agree to comply with all rules and regulations outlined below.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing, or using the Splitvy platform (including all services, features, and content provided by Splitvy), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using the platform.

2. Description of Service

Splitvy operates as a decentralized marketplace for digital subscription sharing and peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers. We connect creators (individuals with extra subscription seats) with buyers (individuals wishing to purchase a seat).

  • Splitvy does not sell or own any digital subscriptions directly.
  • All payments within the platform are settled in USDT (Tether) on the TRON network (TRC20).
  • Splitvy acts as a custodian for funds held in escrow until terms are fulfilled.

3. User Accounts & Verification

To access certain features of the platform, you must create a Splitvy account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Verified Creator Status is granted to users who successfully complete our identification, verification, and history checks. Splitvy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false, misleading, or outdated information.

4. Payments, Escrow, and Fees

Deposits & P2P: Users top up their Splitvy wallet balance by matching with verified P2P sellers. All deposits are final once validated on the TRON blockchain.

Escrow Security: When a buyer joins a subscription group, their monthly seat charge is temporarily held in an escrow bucket. Once the creator provides login credentials/access and it is verified, funds are released.

Platform Fees: P2P transactions and creator withdrawals are subject to fees. Creators are charged a standard flat fee of $1.00 plus a 2% variable fee on their earnings portion upon payout.

5. Account Usage & Third-Party Rules

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that sharing their subscription does not violate the terms of service of the original third-party providers (e.g., Netflix, Spotify, OpenAI, etc.). Splitvy is not liable for any third-party account bans, cancellations, or password changes that arise from sharing seats.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using the Splitvy platform:

  • Providing invalid, hijacked, or stolen subscription credentials.
  • Attempting to bypass the platform fee structure or conducting off-platform payouts.
  • Engaging in fraudulent P2P trades, false payment confirmations, or wash trading.
  • Harassing or abusing other users or creators inside support chats.
